Lovers of nature, the ocean, or spending time outdoors will definitely want to check out the Educational Beach Walks held in Emerald Coast. The walks do not take place during the winter, as the main highlighted feature of the walks is sea turtle nesting season, which runs from June through October. The walks take place every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 PM, are free and open to the public, and contain a short orientation before the walk to help guests become associated with the area and the things they will be seeing. For more information, or to register, guests are encouraged to email ECTurtleWatch@gmail.com, contact the Visitors Bureau by telephone, or visit their website.
